Default Tiger Barbs, safe dither fish with Oscar?

I am just wondering if it would be alright to use tiger barbs as dither fish for an Oscar, they would be introduced at about the same size but would there be agression issues when the O gets bigger?

By agression do you mean that they would get eaten?

I would suggest zebra danios, but i really doubt he would stay alive more than 6 months.

Whatever can fit in an O's mouth will most likely get eaten, may not be right away, but sooner or later it will.

Agreed with Kimmers. There wouldn't be aggression issues because the oscars would eat them. Aggression over. Giant dannios, though, good idea. No idea if it would work, but they do get fairly large and are lightning fast. I have a school of 6 of them in a 55 and they FLY.
    8 tanks running now:
    1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

I would go with Giant Danios over barbs. My barbs are fast, but not as fast as Danios.
