Wonderful looking fish.
The question everyone will want to know of course is what size tank he's in. I can speak collectively for the group when I say we hope you understand how large they get.8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

He's very nice and from what I can see so is his tank. But is that a clown fish I am looking at in the top photo?

A clown fish with an arrowana? Now there is an oddball stocking! I'd like to know how you trained him to be okay with freshwater. Now there is a secret you could make riches from.
Haha... I jest. Obviously it must be a decoration.

Looks just like a clown looking at himself in the glass. Rather shocked me to see him there so I HOPE it's a decoration.

Wouldn't a marine fish in a freshwater tank die nearly instantly? I just always assumed it would, anyway. Or would it live and suffer for a while?

To my knowledge (limited) it would die asap. Maybe the Awarana is in saltwater?

I think the clown is a decoration.A fish that size with those colors would probably have been lunch in that tank aready!lolRay
