silicone
What kind of silicone do you guys use in DIY Fishtank projects?
Have you had your daily dosage of Pele?

If you go to a home improvemnt to store to buy silicone,make sure it does not have any anti-mildew chemicals in it. Read the label to find out. If it does,it will probably say not to use it for aquariums. If in doubt,buy it at your LFS. Dow silicone 688 is what is used in most DIY projects.

GE Silicone I 100% rubber silicone is great stuff.I have used it for many tanks and projects.They have all survived.lol

Has to be 100% SILICONE, that's all. If it doesn't say 100% Silicone, it's not the right stuff no matter what the brand.

Just echoing 100% silicone, no anti-mildew agents or anything like that. If you buy it at the petstore it will cost exponentially more, but its the same stuff.
