Talking Happiest Day Of My Fish Hobby Career!!!!!

You won't believe how happy I am! I was about to pack up my fish and take them down to the LFS so I could trade them in but got the urge to check craigslist. I found a neat little 10G for my Tetras, Guppies, and perhaps my Molly. How much? $15! It comes with a cheapo little filter that will hopefully be replaced later on by my current filter on my 20G when I get it the next step up filter of it's model. It has a heater which saves me like $20. It comes with like 2 fish but I have no problem with that. It comes with a house a plant gravel and all so I'll have to put in an undergravel filter. Luckily, I have an extra junky old air hose thingy laying around. I also have extra houses laying around (hallelujah).

Only problem, no stand. That's the bad part! I have to find a stand! I want a nice little stand like I have for my 20G but it's from Ikea. Any ideas of where I can find a stand for like $10? I know I sound crazy but I need to find something! I just don't know if my dad will be ok with the 2nd tank...

I'll give my friend's dad a call. He's my tips guy. I'm sure he'll have some spare parts laying around that I could use.

Any one else think this is an out of this world offer?
    I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

10g's are generally dirt cheap. Not too surprised, good deal either way. What are the two fish though, do you know? If they're something inappropriate it could really foul up your plans.

Also, a 10g should weigh less than 100 pounds, which isn't bad as far as furniture is concerned. Just about any sort of table you can find should do, so long as it's nice and flat. Craig's List might be the best place for that, too.

Also, just because there's gravel doesn't mean you need an UGF.

60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
29 gallon frog tank / 10 gallon tadpole tank: 1 leopard frog, 1 tadpole

Well, I run on undergravel filters. Sorry :P
I've been looking on craigslist. If anyone could help please send me links to offers in the Seattle-Tacoma area (Washington of course)

I don't know about the fish but I'll probably take em in to my LFS.

2nd hand stores usually have small desks/tables you could get for pretty cheap. You might have to visit a few places though. CL is probably your best option.
21g Planted Fresh Water Community Tank
    -Upsidedown Catfish
    -15 Black Neon Tetra
    -Dwarf Blue Gourami

You can know something about everything, but not everything about something.

Default Big dissapointment. Not the end of the world though.

Well, for the ones who know, I was planning on getting a 10G for my smaller fish. Plans didn't go so well. I forgot that I need to be saving up for a little something...

So, new battle plan. Once my sister is out of the house, my brother gets her room, I get his. Once I get his room, I start looking for a 10G. It should only be a couple of months. She does finish classes in about a month so hopefully by September I can get things moving. I hope my fishes can make it til then...

This doesn't mean I'm not taking anyones advice, I love it. I'm just setting it aside for now and I'll use it later on. I'm sure my fish will make it. I'm sure of it. Jeez, I'm gonna miss that good deal.

Why didn't you post this under the thread you already started about the 10 gallon?
