1 Gallon Planted Betta Tank
This is Snuffleupagus (Snuffles) and his 1 Gallon filter, heated, and planted aquarium. I've post videos of this Betta in the past but I wanted to show off my little tank since I just did a water change, cleaned the tank, and trimmed up his out of control Java Moss.

EDIT: Oh, btw, this $10 tank came from Wal-Mart and the back is painted with Acrylic hobby paint.

Wow, that's really nice. Is the tank made of plastic? I just bought some plastic tanks and want to know how I can create some sort of background for the tanks. I have a lot of acrylic paints.
Let me know if the tank is plastic or glass. I'd like to do the same with mine.
Also, what is that branch covered with? Is that the Java Moss? I've never seen anything like that. It's very neat.
Your betta looks happy.

Yep, it's plastic. I just used acrylic "Apple Barrel" paint from Wal-Mart. I think it was $.89 and a bag of foam brushes for like $1.99. I use one of the extra brushes as an algae "scraper" for my little tanks.
And Yep, that's Java Moss. Just wrapped it around the branch then wrapped with thread. It took a few weeks but attached itself VERY well. I have to trim it down to it's current form about once every month or so.
