stocking
i currently have a 10 gallon and a 29 gallon tank, the 29 is still cycling, and i needed help with what fish to put in it, The fish i wanted are guppies, sunset platy, and swordtail, but then i decided i wanted some tiger barbs also, and that messed everything up because tiger barbs are fin nippers, which rules out guppies. i was wondering if platy and swordtail would be able to live with tiger barbs. I was thinking maybe 6-8 tigerbarbs, 6 platys and a few swordtail in the 29 gallon tank, and then a few guppies in the smaller tank
suggestions?

4-5 would be a good number. They do get a bit large

Tiger barbs can get up to about 3 inches long. 4 barbs in a 10 would be okay, but no more I don't think lest they start running out of room.
8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.
