you could fill it with a carpet plant or a mossy type plant, get nice lighting and substrate to go with it, then choose some shrimp that could live in it on their own. that looks really nice in small tanks.

I'd do a school of small tetra or danio. Maybe some neons or glolights, and some small bottom-feeders like amano shrimp or cory cats. Sand looks really nice in small tanks instead of gravel, I'm appreciating the effect in my brother's new tank. Good luck and keep us updated!

You could do a divided betta tank
Have you had your daily dosage of Pele?

I always though this would be good for a 10 gallon (Planted or non Planted) I would do planted though.
6 Glowlight Tetras
4 False Juli Cory Cats
1 Plakat Male Betta
How does that sound?
Like said above you could do a divided betta tank.
Another thing you could try would be a nano reef. I would lean towards freshwater in a 10 gallon though.
