Python No Spill and Fill Users
I purchased the Python. If I read the instructions correctly this product aerates the water to help remove chlorine from the water. Is this correct? I will still continue to use a water conditioner.
Just curious.

No. The python fills and emptys the tank. You need to add your dechlorinator as you fill the tank.

Use dechlor, it takes a lot of aeration to remove chlorine and aeration doesnt affect chloramines.

when using the python is it ok to just fill the tank straight from the tap then add dechlorinator into the tank then?
I would have thought adding the dechlorinator into the tank would give the chlorine and chloramine time to kill the bacteria.

Add you dechlorinator before you start filling.

Cool :)
Will make things alot easier if I do that!!!
I was paranoid that the chlorinated water would instantly kill all my good bacteria so I've been mixing the water and dechlor and leaving it a few mins to mix before putting it in the tank.
Takes ages to do a large change!

It will kill the bacteria pretty fast, so do not add it straight to the filter, but just adding it to the tank is fine as long as dechlor is present.
