Shipping aquatic plants from Canada to the states
What are the regulations on this? Is it even possible?
What sort of protocol will have to be followed?

It is possible. I tried to find a direct source of information but couldn't. Instead, I found some indirect info.

That's the website of a Canadian company that sells pond plants and supplies. Apparently you need a "phytosanitary certificate" which costs some amount of money. I'm not sure how you'd go about getting one, or if perhaps the standards are more relaxed when it's just one private citizen shipping plants to another, rather than a company doing business across the border.300 gallon mega tank: build in progress
75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
29 gallon frog tank: 1 bullfrog
10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails
