Don't people understand what they read?
*argh*
I rented out our rental suite back at the end of February. As soon as I did I marked the ad on Kijiji as 'RENTED! Thank you!' I hate when people don't do that - so I made sure I did it.
I've gotten about 10 calls since asking about it.
I also said 'no e-mails' . Got a bunch of those as well.
The ad said 'single occupancy' and the picture showed a single bed. Yesterday I got a guy - via e-mail - who wanted to bring his wife along to view the suite.
It took me a bit - but I finally managed to delete the ad yesterday.
My fault for not doing that in the first place. But I didn't think anyone would call if the ad essentially said 'SOLD!'.
I called one girl back - said 'Sorry! The suite is taken and the ad was edited to reflect that.' She got beligerant...said the ad was NOT marked. I went back and checked...and yes it was. I didn't call back any of the others. Didn't want to get yelled at. *bwak bwak bwak* But now I feel guilty for not calling them back...

I get annoyed with things like that too, lol. Every time I post a craigslist ad I always put local sales, cash only and I still get people from out of state or country wanting to pay pal the money and have me ship it. Half of them are scams, but a lot are real people too

Not only do they not bother to read, they can't comprehend what it says anyway.

Its true most people only see what they are looking for...lol Also Just thought I would point out. People who use services like AOL often see cached web pages. In other words it doesn't update on the AOL server so the user only sees the old page. I know I had this problem in the past with web pages that were updated but did not reflect the updates to people who were connected through AOL.

I'm on a lot of different forums of different subjects.
It always amazes me that no matter how clear I post something,
there's always at least one person that reads something totally
different, not even close to what I said.
I take extra time to be clear and direct, but it doesn't matter.JC

I think people just have issues with being told "No".
They want to be told what they want to hear and if "No" is part of the equation, they get all bent out of shape about it.
Hubby did this to me first thing this morning. The Boy did this to me when he got home from school, then lied to me twice on top of that. I won't even get started with other forums and the BS that has been posted on atleast one I'm on. Stupid people shouldn't debate...anything. Their blatherings bring down the entire gene pool a few notches.

People don't follow the rules. One of the first time I used craigslist, I posted my number and said to call only between 10am to 10pm. Some idiot called me at 5:30 in the morning. Or when I was selling a 50g tank by itself with nothing else you wouldn't believe the number of posts I had asking me if it came with a hood, filter, lights,etc... I even had a picture of the bare tank by itself! Best thing I find to do is post the ad, let them reply via email, then pull the ad down asap after you sell the item.

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
