    Default Omega One fish foods...

So I use NLS and love it for almost all of my fish but the pellets don't float as long as I'd like and I want a high quality food so I'm looking at Omega One foods. What's the word on these foods?

It's probably the best of the easy-to-find brands out there. I've been using it for several years now...I'm very pleased with the product.

Great stuff! I've been using it for a couple of years and am quite pleased with it too. Pleased enough that I use it exclusively for staple food . Good alternative to NLS and just as good a quality IMO.

Excellent, sounds like you all like it well enough. Best place online to purchase or elsewhere. I just tend to order products if I can.

How would you compare Omega One to say Hikari?

I have tried both the tetra brand and omega one, my fish like the omega one the best. The only hikari product I use is the algae wafers and my fish will form packs and devour them.

I started using that food about a month ago to supliment the other food types they are getting. My guys seem to like it. It was recommended to me by a friend. Good to see all of the great reviews here.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I have used Hikari in the past and still do when I cant get Omega one . Again a very good quality food. In fact I used the cichlid staple pellet for many years for my large cichlids. I would also buy it again for large cichlids because it comes in larger pellet sizes than I could get with other brands . I dont keep Oscars and such anymore but if I did I'd definately use it. When it comes to aquarium fish food the Top tier brands are all very similar IMO. You wont go wrong with NLS ,Omega one , or Hikari. All very good foods. More of a matter of what you want to pay or where you want to buy from.
