Cycling & bacterial bloom connection
No problems here, I'm just curious.
My 20 gallon is presently going through a bacterial bloom. It's not bad, but seeing how the tank has been clear up to this point it is obvious.
So what does the bacterial bloom mean? And is a indicator of where the cycle is at? If so, is it mid-cycle? Towards the end?

It means the bacteria has increased by a good amount, its a good sign but doesnt indicate exactly where you are in the cycling process except that you are not at the very beginning.

Thanks
It would make for a good visual indicator aside from testing, but I suppose that would make things easier. LOL
