I was wondering about aeration in a tank. I saw a formula somewhere (forgot the site) that showed oxygen intake per square inch of surface water and how it relates to number of fish in the tank.
I know I have a fairly heavily stocked tank and have good filtration (Marineland Penguin 150 and the stock filter) that creates quite a bit of surface disturbance. I'm actually wondering if I'm at risk of having my fish run low on oxygen in the water.
The lazy cory cats and betta occasionally will take a breath at the top, but it rarely happens. I'm probably just being paranoid but I just wanted to make sure.
