About Power Heads

I wanna know some info about power heads. How they work etc. Ive seen a power head hooked up to a air pump in the LFS thats not how they have to be use right?

Doin a WC today and i was thinkin i could use a power head to push that extra stuff that falls on my sand.

I really know nothing about power heads never thought of using them.

Yes, powerheads can do that for you. You can also make current with them, or can be used for UGFs, or you can run a quickfilter attachment. They come in handy for bigger tanks. Airline is not necessary, but can be used.

Yeah i think i might order a power head for my 4 foot tank to get some current going to pick up some extra stuff on the sand.
