Need help sexing these Jack Dempseys..
Both of them
Fish 1
Fish 2

Can't tell anything from the first one. Second picture is definitely a female.
On males, the blue speckling on the face stays as speckles, for females it begins to run together as blotches in the manner seen in your second picture. It used to be much easier to sex them simply by looking at the dorsal fins, however with the advent of foods containing hormones, this distinction has mostly disappeared in mature fish.Considering a Marine Aquarium?
