looks like diatoms ( I think I spelled it right)
Its natural for newer cycled tanks. I got it about 1 to 2 months after the tank was cycles and most of it went away after two months.
I got two plecos and they took care of the restIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Hum..... If you have been treating the tank for algue, I won't think it would be diatoms then.

Give us a better pic of that plant.It doesnt look true aquatic.The algae looks like a form of hair algae.

That brownish colored stuff could either be decaying plant parts or diatoms. Diatoms is called brown algea but it is not an algea. They are a unicellular organism that eat silica, thou they also have chlorophyll. I also see something that kind of looks like some type of hair algea.
