Thread: Pelia

  1. Default Pelia

Technically it's not really a moss, but....

I bought a clump from a guy on Aquabid - it looked nice and green when I got it but I did the usual soak-in-weak-bleach-solution and this is what it looks like:

Do you think I killed it? It's pretty delicate stuff. This was a few days ago and I put it in the tank immediately after the bleach and it looks kind of translucent.
    55 gallon community tank
    10 platies
    2 guppies
a few guppy and platy fry
    7 zebra danios
    6 panda corys
    2 skunk corys
    4 elegant corys
hornwart, crypt, java moss, a couple of small melon swords

  2. Default

I think the question is moot as the bit of mesh the pelia was anchored to is now floating on the surface of my tank with one or two tiny strands hanging from it

bleach is very rough on some plants
As I get older I find myself thinking about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.
