He's here-Finally
0
I just got him Monday, but my home computer is down so i had to wait to use the schools. Hes about 7'', with no fin rips or scars, which is suprising seeing how he was housed with 2 others. He was obviously the aggressive one, having beat up on the other aro still left with him when I got there. Currently I'm feeding him freeze dried plankton and krill, with a rosy red every other ady or so. Is this right? I asked what they fed them at the LFS, and bought the same, but I'm not sure on how much, and how many times a day. Currenlty hes at a pinch of planton and a krill, twice a day, except for rosy red days. he eats quite hungrily, but I know that doesnt always mean fedd him more. Just asking.

What kind of Aro is it? I avoid live foods...They will eat just about anything though. I give my Silver Aro Krill, pellets, raw shrimp, fish fillets, etc...
Looking forward to pics!

A varied diet is best, and I would stay away from live feeder fish. They do love crickets, and crickets are easy to gut load. Just feed them good foods like fresh greens and even fish food then feed to the aro. Krill should not be a staple, but is a great treat. Any seafood from the grocery store will work well, like strips of fish(salmon, smelt, whitefish, mackeral, catfish ect) and crustations(clams, shrimp, mussles, squid ect). You can feed some good quality pellets too.

All above advice is good. Get him off the live feeders (not much nutrition, good chance of getting disease in your tank). Fresh seafood, superworms, krill, is all the best to feed your aro. Best of luck with him and can't wait to see him.
