Hello I just joined (My Tank Idea)
I am thinking on having a freshwater aquarium installed and professionally maintained, because of my handicap. I've had them before, so I am familiar. The tank is a 20 gallon long. Going by the rule of thumb 1" minus the tail, I read it's 36" of fish without over crowding, for the long. They are mostly small 1 to 2.5" fish. It will have live pants.
Fish:
1 Betta (Male)
12 Celestial Pearl Danio
1 Red Tail Shark
4 Bronze Cory
1 Bristlenose Pleco
19 fish. 35.5 inches at full growth
Celestial Pearl Danio is new to me. Not sure of their compatibility with the others. I've never had an aggressive Betta and some Danio's are compatible.
Do Julii Cory keep the bottom of the tank as clean as Bronze Cory? I can't decide which I want.
What live plants are good. I've only use plastic in the past.

My thought as well. Dropp the shark and you will have a nice setup.
Do as I say. Not as I do.

My red-tail shark hates all other fish, I will never have another one. The only reason I keep this one is because a dear friend gave him to me when she shut down her tank.//But he is a beautiful shark.

A Candy Stripe loache should be a better fit as they are less aggressive

They're best grouped in 3 I seen. I'm thinking too much fish with that many. What about a Rainbow Shark? They are less agressive.
