Forum Etiquette Reminder
There have been a few posts in a few different threads lately which warrant a quick reminder to be respectful towards each other when we may disagree. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with each other, but we have to also be respectful in these situations.
A few quotes from our forum rules:
* Be polite against other members and treat them well. The golden rule applies on this forum.
* Use common sense when being active on the forum.
* Do not cause drama!
* Respect other peoples way of doing things. This is fish keeping and there is always more than one "right" way to do things. Do not argue and try to make it seem like yours is the only "Right" way. Acknowledge that other methods that have been posted works as well when you post your way. If you think someone give erroneous advice, say so politely and then say why.If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Thanks for posting this Cliff. It's good to be reminded that sometimes how we say things here is as important as what we say.

If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I think the core of most people is good. That being said, text is the WORST medium of communication in the eyes of the interpreter. I think our members are amazing 99% of the time. Sometimes 1% of the time members get worn and that can easily affect their responses to the questions that come across as redundant.
There is no stupid questions, only uneducated ones. If we all make a concerned effort to come across with the idium of sharing and teaching, everyone will be better for it.FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
