Red-Tailed Shark Question
Will a Red-Tailed Black shark fight with a Bristlenose Pleco?

I wouldn't risk it.
A severe lack of trichogaster.
Just because your Gourami is sick does not mean it is always Iridovirus, DGIV, Gourami Disease, et cetera.
Look at all the other factors in your tank before coming to this conclusion.

The tank is 29 gallons, there's also 3 platys, 4 Buenos Aires Tetra, and 4 Bleeding Hearts, as well as the bristlenose.

That tank is unfortunately too small for the shark.
They are some what aggressive and need a lot of swimming room.They also get 6" which is way too large for a 29.

I have a redtail black shark, that's the meanest fish I've ever had.He was even very agressive to my three very large cae in a 55 gal. I finally moved him in with my two large yellow labs. So far all is well.//

Great white shark
