How are your tanks set up?
What other fish?
What size tank?
This info is really necesary.
Is the tank or tanks properly cycled?
The mother is fine with the babies unless you see her wanting to eat them.Floating plants are big help with livebearer fry. They help in feeding and hiding.
Some guppies take their time and the delivery can last for weeks! They also are usually ready to have more every 30days.Ray

hi my tank is a 170 liters boyu.
iv got mollies, goldern bards, neon tetras, plattys, 2 puffer fish and some bottom feeders
im running a external filter and the tank has plenty of plant life,
iv got the babys in a hatchery as i know the puffers will go for them.
iv took mum out but noticed today that she is starting to fill out again so wondering weather she will give birth again soon? she did give birth to about 30 babys.
but today my mollie decided to give birth to 15 babys, so iv put them in with the baby guppies
i have 2 hatcherys ones a net and ones a plastic twin hatchery
my tanks is well cycled.
this is a bit new to me as always had fish but the have always been parrots and oscars, not littles ones that breed like hell lol
thanks for you reply

And everything else along with it! Not to mention 170L isn't enough for a single Oscar, well an adult one anyway

One of my guppys gave birth a couple days ago, and it was just a couple of hours, about 5 hours it took to her to be done .
And they were about 25 fry's.
