  1. Default Mojave Ball Pythons!

    0 Not allowed!
I just picked up my new pair of Mojave (Ball Pythons) at the All Cleveland Reptile Show today! They are both later 09's (pretty young), but should make some nice babies eventually! When these snakes are bread together, 33% of their offspring will be blue eyed leucistic (a white snake with blue eyes).

The pics are kind of crap, but I didn't want to bother them too much yet. The male is the one with the broken stripe down his back.

    Pretty!

How often do you feed them? What do you feed them? How much does it cost you?

Just comparing to what I do...

    Thanks all!

Rue - These two cost about $500 combined and their BEL (blue eyed leucistic) offspring will sell for around $1500 each (if the market prices hold up). They eat baby rats while young and will just eat larger rats as they grow. I try to feed twice a week until they reach 1000 grams, then once every 7-10 days.

Thanks! I was just comparing notes.

Ling (rat snake, Vietnamese Blue Beauty) is eating every 3 weeks or so. She eats 2 medium-sized rats per meal. Rats are $4 each.

Last feeding she was 'off'. I tried several times to feed her...ended up tossing $24 worth of defrosted rat and mice (ran out of rats)...

I need to feed her tomorrow if I have time to defrost her food...
