Emergency
I just noticed small white dots on one of my MM platties. I dont know how she got it since no new fish have been added... I just fed them frozen bloodworms earlier today and she was fine.... now hours later she has become lathargic and spotty. My problem is that I have fry in the tank... will the API super ick cure do damage to my fry?... my other tank still isnt cycled yet so I dont want to put them in there. What can I do... im freaking out

my QT tank is still not cycled :(
The API super ick cure says to put 5 ml into every 5 us gal... I have a 55 gal tank does that mean I have to put 50 ml of the treatment into the tank? seems like a awful lot especially since the bottle is only 37 ml. Is this correct?
Ill also google Ick.. i have before but guess i need to re-read up on itLast edited by tigger1; 01-17-2010 at 03:02 AM.

If you can't move the fish into the QT tank, just crank up the heat in the tank to 80 or more(slowly of course) and that will help in the process of getting rid of the ick. That's my 2 cents.
the statement below is false
the statement above is true
which one is true?
