Is this platy Pregnant????

I got this platy about 5 days ago and its been bigger than all the others for a long time. It's the red wagtail platy. I found 1 fry the day i put her in the tank, but then she ate it. Is she pregnant and how do i know when shes going to drop?

If you have any males than chances are its pregnant!
Thats what they do!lol

If it is in with males it ios probably pregnant. It coes not look like it is anywhere close to being ready to deliver though.

even if you don't have a male, seeing as how they can store seed from males for up to 6 batches of fry, chances are that it is pregnant. It takes them 28 days from conception to delivery and another 24 hours to get pregnant again, with odds like that you'd be crazy not to bet on knocked up

When she is ready to pop her stomach will be bigger and kind of squared off around the bottom.It usually takes up to 5-7 weeks for them to drop the fry.
