My new turtle Myrtle
Myrtle is the little yellow belly slider, Mortus is the big fat Red Ear Slider

Congrats on the turtle. Are they in the same tank together?

Yes they are sharing a 100gal now and are the best of friends, I'm working on a pond for when they get bigger and have a 4ft 55g if any aggression starts. Usually when you put them together that young you don't have to worry about aggression though.

I actually had a snapper and a stinkpot that lived together in a baby pool. The snapper never harmed the little 4inch stinkpot, he did catch sparrows. They lived together for about a year than someone stole my snapper
Make sure you feed the little yellow belly things like collard greens, they are loaded with calcium. Good luck with them, they look good.

yep, they don't eat much greens when there that small, they usually stick to proteins and are full carnivores when there that young. The big one is just starting to eat his reptomin pellets. He used to only eat feeders and shrimp and occasionally dig up my anacharis and eat the roots. Now he'll eat everything I put in there, he loves apple pieces.

Oh and he loves green beans and moths lol the little one has only eaten a couple carnivore pellets so far though. Working on teaching her to eat from my fingers shes still shy though
