Yes they are sharing a 100gal now and are the best of friends, I'm working on a pond for when they get bigger and have a 4ft 55g if any aggression starts. Usually when you put them together that young you don't have to worry about aggression though.

The little one which is female will grow anywhere from 10" to 15" and the bigger male will grow from 8" to 12". The little one has been watching mortus chase fish and is starting to catch on, yellow bellys aren't supposed to be as carnivorous or aggressive as Red Ears though.

I actually had a snapper and a stinkpot that lived together in a baby pool. The snapper never harmed the little 4inch stinkpot, he did catch sparrows. They lived together for about a year than someone stole my snapper Make sure you feed the little yellow belly things like collard greens, they are loaded with calcium. Good luck with them, they look good.

yep, they don't eat much greens when there that small, they usually stick to proteins and are full carnivores when there that young. The big one is just starting to eat his reptomin pellets. He used to only eat feeders and shrimp and occasionally dig up my anacharis and eat the roots. Now he'll eat everything I put in there, he loves apple pieces.
