Anyone here go back to school in there 30's?
I'm a little nervous. Mainly because I can barely remember ANYTHING from highschool. And the anatomy/physiology class is a royal pain from what I hear. How do people do this? I hear about people all the time who have a zillion kids, 3 jobs and go to college. I'm just not sure, I can be one of them. I've taken out every anatomy book there is, just to prepare for January.
Anyone do this and glad they did? Did the ends justify the means?
I figured it was just time to go back. I had the GI Bill, still sittin there waisting away. When I was in the Army, I took ONE class at Ft. Lewis. After that...nothing. I became a mommy...very happy I did! But now the the youngest is headed for all day kindie next year, might as well get off the pot!Fish Hugger~

I just graduated from pharmacy school this past summer and am now in a Masters program. I'm 31. We had people in my class in their late 40s-early 50s. I think I probably got a lot more out of classes since I was older (didn't get much out of undergrad as I was too busy partying). I'm sure there will be plenty of older students in your classes, nothing to worry about.

Schooling is easier now than when you younger!lol
At least thats what I thought when I went back.
I had most of the partying out of my system which really made it easier to concentrate and pull off some nice high averages.Ray

Yeah, I kind of thought now that I'm older, maybe I'll take it seriously. I do take it seriously, but I have my moments. There's just no other option right now. DH drives a truck & I'm gettin kinda tired of him being gone so much. I'm hoping he can cut back once there's two paychecks. Hope so.

My wife hated it when I was on the road all the time.
My wife really hated it when I started staying home all the time!
Now she tells me to go fishing, camping and stuff to get out of her hair for a while!

I took classes part-time in my 30s...and went back full-time to Grad. School in my 40s...
It's fine...you just have to focus. For example, if you can't study at home...then don't study at home. You're better off studying where you are productive, vs. trying to study where you are not productive and then getting frustrated...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos
