Cute!

I had rats as pets years ago...then I developed allergies.

But they are the BEST rodent pets...hands down.

Never thought of giving them a bath though - that's new!

I love my ratties. Have had rats ever since I was 10. That really sucks about your allergies. My aunt is very allergic to rodents. Her eyes swell shut and her throat begains to close. It is odd though because she had always been around rodents and it didn't start till a year or two after I had gotten my first one. But rats are great pets, much better than hamsters. Much friendler and social too. They take up less room than rabbits or guinea pigs and are not as messy. Don't get me wrong, they are all great pets for the right person. I just wish more people would give rats a chance. They rarely bite. Very smart little animals.
