Thanks everyone! i appreciate the comments and welcome any suggestions or thoughts!
and yes hailey they have been breeding:)...in fact they just got done eating their second batch of eggs this morning.
how often do u think they will lay eggs now?
i also saw the shrimp around the eggs too...i am thinking i should remove them
how many times before they usually get it right? or do i have to remove the shrimp to ease the stress?

Update..
Well the female ram unexpectedly died a month ago which left me discouraged with this tank because it took me awhile to finally get a pair and have them spawn.
Two weeks ago I added 6 panda corys and I still wanted more....so i went back to the lfs and asked for 3 and they gave me 5. I couldn't turn down 2 free pandas. I also got 3 zebra snails for the heck of it.
So the current stock looks like this
11 cardinals
11 panda corys
3 amano shrimp
3 zebra nerite snails
2 cherry shrimp
1 male GBR

Don't be too discouraged. Rams purchased from retail sources often have short life spans. As long as you kept your nitrates at or under 20 ppm and water temps around 79 - 80 degrees F, that's about all you can do. Some of them just die no matter how careful you are about your water parameters.
