Prime dosages
Any suggestions on how much to use in a 5 gallon tank. Bottle has directions for 50 gallon-5mls. I can't wrap my brain around on how to dose for 5 gallons

As I get older I find myself thinking about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Does that equate to a number of drops, by any chance?

1/2 ml. = 10 drops, 1 ml. = 20 drops I believe.

It all depends on the dropper and the way you hold the dropper (vertical and horizontal will give you very different volumes per drop).
So if you are using metric drops, it would be 10 drops per half mL with drops released from a vertical position. If you're worried about precision then just use a half mL syringe. The drop is a unit of measure of volume. It is a variable amount of fluid and depends on the device and technique used to produce the drop and on the physical properties of the fluid. This is similar to units like the cup, tablespoon, and teaspoon that depend on the spoon or cup and are not exact either.
the "metric" drop is defined as 1/20 mL (50 ìL)
the medical drop is defined as 1/12 mL (83 1/3 ìL)
the Imperial drop is defined as 1/36 of a fluidram (1/288 of an Imperial fluid ounce, or 1/1440 of a gill) (approximately 99 ìL)
an alternate, possibly apocryphal, definition of the drop is 1/1824 of a gill (approximately 78 ìL)
the U.S. drop is defined as 1/60 of a teaspoon or 1/360 of a U.S. fluid ounce (approximately 82 ìL)
an alternate definition of the U.S. drop is 1/76 of a teaspoon or 1/456 US fl oz (approximately 65 ìL)

Try this
I asked my vet for a few empty syringes (no needle).
Later bought more on-line.
