Congratulations on that huge new tank, but I do not envy you the project at hand!
I hope once you have it home and set up, you will share pictures of it with us. It sounds like you have some interesting plans for the tank!

I'd find a way to get the tank set up without tearing it apart. Trying to reseal a tank of that size is no easy task.
Average door frame is 36 inches and I doubt your tank would be higher than maybe 25 inches. Not sure why it wouldn't go thru that door frame.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Welcome to the Fabulous AC!
What are the tank demensions?
Its not that its harder to rebuild a tank that size but you will need help because of the size and weight of the panels.
If you can find a way to get it out in one peice,I would.
The door frame on the outside of the house is a lot more work than an inside door.lol
As Lady Hatred said removeing the doors and trim will give you a few more inches.Ray

I wouldn't take it apart...it's likely more work than it's worth...finding a smaller tank is likely a better option. Measure your doorways first...

being a carpenter by trade i'd just open up the doorway rather than trying to take the tank apart. much simpler and can be put back together in no time tanks gonna take a few days

+++ for ripping off the door. Pull the hinge pins and remove just the door first and see if you can get it through. If not, then rip off the trim and pull the frame.
