    THANK YOU EVERYBODY!! I'm just concerned about the future, i dont want one of every length laying around the house if i have one in the kitchen and then one in the basement, i dont want to use 100ft for a 15 foot distance!

    alright, I'm going out now to gather the parts for this little project, first i need to measure the distance.
    -75g FW community, planted
    -10g FW guppies, planted
    -44g Terrarium, tree frog, various plants.

    ok, it works. I spent about 7 bucks on parts, had the hose, ran HOT water through it for a long time, until it no longer smelled like "hose water" just smells like its coming right out of the tap. I think its safe to say I saved some money.

    I went everywhere looking for a waterbed drain/fill kit, and my last resort was a small hardware store about 20 minutes from me, they had it! none at lowes target or walmart, home depot, sears...sheesh. Thank god for the yellow pages, saved a lot of trips!

    I built the desk my 10g is on now, with a rack up top for my dvds
