Baby food for fish?
I was just reading threads here about how peas can help with constipation and I was relaying this to the wife describing that we need to cook them then squeeze out the soft bits. Then she asked if we could just use baby food peas....I am pretty sure tehy don't add anything to baby food but I don't know for sure. Has anyone tried this? Just thought it might be easier to keep a couple small jars on hand and feed peas once or twice a week to keep them regular.

I know that some use baby food in their homemade fish food made from gelatin. Can't see why it wouldn't work. Only problem I see is it's pureed so might just get mixed up all over in the water instead of pieces the fish can grab.

From what I have read in other threads you will notice bloating, they will often be a little lethargic and not eat as much. For that reason I am thinking it might not be a bad idea to supplement their diet with peas while they are healthy to keep things moving, since once they get backed up it can be difficult to get them to eat.

If not, what do I do about the peas I would cook for the fish since my water is chlorinated?
