Some Firemouth impressions and updates 06.25.07 and 06.26.07
Besides my Sajicas I also keep two pairs of Thorichthys meeki aka Firemouth.
One thing is for sure, a Firemouth is just a great fish to keep, nothing more, nothing less. Hardy, intelligent, interesting behaviour, great colors especialy when angry or spawning.
Jere are some pics of my favourite fish, called "Dicker" (means uhum fat man) Look at his belly, you know why
This fellow and his spouse once took so good care of their offspring that I had the real big problem to find a good home for 50 little Meekis

Just beautiful!
How big are they?
How long did it take for them to get that size?
Just got 6 of them.

Impressions update 25.06.07 and 26.06.07
For some days now, my favourite Meeki is full of Testosterone and really it shows
I guess maybe tonight or tomorrow, there will be a big batch of shine yellow eggs gluing on a neatly cleaned stone
Jeesus... loads of action in my tank
