Ok I have mad bettas, in that they are soft, My Male c/t never attacks fry, or guppys, no matter how fancy tails they have.

Now I have 3 femailes in the tank, was 2 but brough a new on today, and he ignores them, Now one of the females started with very short fins normal female looking and they grew and grew and grew, she (or is it he) looks very much like a lovely male siamese, But he and c/t get on fine, no flareing, no nipping, they even sleep next to each other.

Could it be that they are in a big well planted tanks, is she a she or a he LOL

There is a theory out there that given a big enough tank, males could live together, but no one wants to risk their fish to try it out! Or want to admit it if they do!

I can't see in the video or pics but the female should have a white dot on her 'bottom'

Regardless you need to watch this tank closely. I had a male with four females and they got along great, didn't think I had anything to worry about, then I woke to find the male dead and shredded, a day or so later the fem that was also torn up died. Betta will sometimes kill each other when trying to mate... Professional breeder Betty Splendens (Victoria Stark) recommends NEVER keeping males and females together UNLESS you're breeding that pair. Things happen, often when we're not there to break it up. Good luck.

Your new fish looks like a male to me. Females have shorter fins on the lower body plus you would see a white spot under the belly. Yours has longer fins on the bottom and I could not see the belly well enough. If you are unsure about the finnage; then check the belly, there is no mistaking the white spot under the belly.

They might be getting along because of the amount of planting that is done in your tank. How big is the tank that you have them in?
