    It is very hard without a pic but lets try. What bodyshape does it have. Does it look like a cichlid or a danio or what. Do you know of a fish with similar body shape?

    Buying a fish that you know nothing about is generally bad practice...and we really need pics to give an id. What is the base color of the fish? What shade of blue is the spot? Any other pattern on the fish?
