Got my lunar lights
I got the lights in! I Loooove the blue! It looks amazing directly over the bubble stone I have in the center of my tank.
It only lights up that one part of my tank though, as you see in the picture.
Should I get a second (link) and put them each on one side of the tank? Or is it better to only light up the center? I don't want to put TOO much light xD
Thanks!!

That was a nice touch!
If you can see the fish it should be fine.
Its probably brighter at home than in the pic.
I find that too many lights kills the effect.
After all its suppose to look like a moon ray!

=D Thanks. My father is going to help me build a hood like the ones you have on your tanks so I can hide my light fixture, and the lunar light will be directly attached to the hood. You inspired me

Few things are as simple, yet can transform a tank and reinvigorate interest like lunar lights. Glad you enjoy them!

Here's an alternate, if you want
I have a Satellite Dual CF fixture on my 35 hex, and it has one white Lunar light built in. It lights only the center of the tank, just like in your picture.
I have an 8 LED blue light bar on my 5g tank, but pointed UP toward the reflector, instead of down into the tank. It gives a general blue glow throughout the entire tank without being too bright.
If you add another light and it seems too much, try pointing it up toward the reflector for a more subdued effect.Dragoon Woman

=D I love them! Right over the bubble stone, it makes the water sparkle and look almost like a flowing river. I kept my glasses on in bed and fell asleep with them because I was watching my tank with fascination... xD and there aren't even any fish in there yet!!

The one light looks amazing Lo. I really like it.
When in doubt, do a water change.
