Lost my male nyete krib
For a few days he had a scuffed appearance around is nose,I thought it was just from rooting around his coco hut, then 2 days ago I saw he seemed to have trouble closing his mouth, last night I found him mostly blind and incoherant.I euthed him in ice water.Bums me out,he was a character and a beautiful fish and he leaves a widow.Might have been popeye.
Just looked it up to confirm it,it was pop eye.First Ive ever ad this happen in a tank. The water checks out and it just had a water change and vac.The rest of the inhabs are fine.Could have been brought on by injury I suppose,he did love to tussle with the acaras.

Sorry to hear that.“The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.”
