Great addition! I love mine, but be careful - they can be murderers! I caught mine with half a Glolight Tetra in it's mouth at lights on one morning not too long ago.

He was just looking at me like "...what?"

Killies shoudln't be kept in community tanks.
    It looks very nice though.

Yeah, thats why research is always the best. I have kept around 25 different species of them, and will always take a PM asking a question about them.

Mine was actually one of my first additions - I don't even think I was a member here yet. I was still believing the information I was getting at the LFS...

My whole philosophy changed shortly after starting my research here.

Hes tiny right now and there arent any fish in that tank he can fit in his mouth. He's the smallest fish in the tank so I'm not worried he's in a tank with some larger angels, I heard that it may have trouble with the angels but we shall see. I was really impressed when I put some shrimp pellets in the tank and he ate one whole and hes only about an inch and a half long!

Its not just him eating the other fish, the movement of all the other fish really stress out the killies.

Wow didnt read that anywhere. I have a lot of plants up the surface it can hide in if its stressed out. So they are majorly solitary fish in the wild or what?
