That's why I could never be a teacher, or a cop. I'd have the tendancy to "shoot first" and not bother with the questions.

The only things the parents would need to know is why little Johhny got chucked out of a second floor classroom window.

Well, some kids do some dumb stuff, whether they have underlying problems or not. At least you, Mr Bluegill, are smart/mature enough to recognize inappropriate behavior towards animals, and know better than to participate in or encourage it :) Really that's all you can do, since you can't control your classmates, and getting involved in any way would only probably cause trouble for you.

On a kind of funny note about petting fish, I used to have a really large friendly oscar that loved being hand fed and liked being stroked on his sides and top of his head. I found that out one day when I was rearranging the tank and he was constantly swimming up against my arms in a manner similar to flashing.
No matter how much I learn or know I'm still gonna be a NOOB, but that doesn't mean I'm an idiot!

Sometimes if a person is gifted they can be lacking in other areas sometimes...Autistic people can be very gifted.

Does he normally do things like this Mr. Bluegill?

Still would like to know if the teacher was there or did anything?

Just hope he doesn't have any pets at home!
