  1. Default goby and shrimp in a 10-gal?

i was wondering if i could keep a convict goby and a pepermint shrimp in a 10 gallon with 1-2 lbs live rock? just wondering, that would be my first "nano" setup

  2. #2

    Default

1 to 2 lbs isn't going to be enough rock. You need at least 10 lbs for a 10 gallon for proper filtration as well as a small power head and a skimmer.

As far as stocking the peppermint shrimp will be fine, but what convict goby are you looking to get. Some are suitable for a small tank, but an engineer goby can also be called a convict goby, and they get way to large for 10 gallon

    29 gallon-planted community

    20 long frag tank
    75 gal-planted goldfish

75 gallon mixed reef with 20 gallon sump
