I want to replace my pleco...
I want to replace my pleco because I think he does more harm than good in my tank plus eventually he's going to out grow it. Hes a 5in spotted hi-fin and he poops ALOT. I want to replace him with possibly a school of corys or ottos or whatnot.
So does anyone have suggestions on what I could use to replace his cleaning abilities in a tank? Its a 55 gallon with a taller build. I'm making the hour trek to the LFS store today so hopefully I can get some quick responses. My last signature was obnoxious.

bristlenose? They stay smaller. You don't have to have a pleco of any kind.

I agree! The smaller plecos are great workers and are beautiful fish.

Already have a bristlenose in a smaller tank. They are very pretty, but I guess what I'm trying to say is, "Is there any way to replace what a pleco does with another fish or fishies." Kind of getting bored with plecos I guess.
