New Oscar fry are 1" now!
This summer my pair spawned twice, first batch of eggs got eaten by them. it was first time that they ate the eggs and they were very aggressive toward each other this time, don't know why. I had to separate them for a day then they calmed down.
second time I moved the eggs so they survived. there were about 1000 of them! lack of time I didn't hatch brine shrimp like past year and just fed them brine shrimp powder, as a result just about +200 of them made it and survived the first month.
now they are near 1" long. here are some pictures.80g Oscar Tank

And this is their older brother!
he is 16 months old now. he's got a very nice pattern and intense red color. his pattern is similar to his mother ( in my avatar ) but he got the red of the father.
previously I thought its a girl but from the breeding tube I'm almost sure that its a he!

LOL My oh my. What a load of Oscars you have there. I've given my fry shrimp powder too. They seemed to eat it as well as they did the brine shrimp.
