Culling a fish
So I was just thinking... I used to be a chef at a seafood restarant and sadly we had live fresh seafood. Anyways what we normally do is just sever the spine behind the head. I wonder if it would hurt them. Or if ice baths are better. I am just curiouse don't actually have any dying fish.

I can not see cutting into a fish when tossing it in some ice water is an instant death.
