Best and Worst Fresh Veggies For Snails
My blue and gold Apple snails really like cucumber. They don't seem to want okra at all. The one I had before gobbled up eggplant. Lettuce is a sure bet. I have some watermelon in there now. We'll see how that goes.
All these foods are served raw and homegrown when possible.
These snails, and others, will eat a wide variety of veggies. What are the best? AC says foods high in calcium are important for shell health.
What veggies should not be fed to them?

Mine really like the cucumber, too, and also zucchini slices.

Shell. My "big" Apple Really Loves Romaine Lettuce, Regular Lettuce Has Almost No Benefit! I Usually Put A Suction Cup W/clamp (like Used For Holding Tubing In Tank) To Hold Lettuce, Or Whatever.
