Thank you! The depressing thing is that I still have 40 more to loose (or thereabouts...lol)...

But I do feel better...it's not enough that anyone can see it on me yet, but my pants are looser and more comfortable in the waist-line...

I've been walking and lost some. At least I can zip up my jeans again.

Of course the walking is not something I love. Since my daughter borrowed my car (two months ago) I've had little choice but I needed to tone up some anyway.

How do you do your shopping without your car? Or bring home new aquariums?

I like walking...just scared to do it when it's cold outside...stupid asthma.

My MIL is in her mid-70s and can still walk the pants off me...(she's taller too - longer stride ). I have to give her credit, she's very fit for her age...

Think of it this way....all you have to do is repeat what you've done four more times!

Used the treadmill! Too cold outside for my lungs...so I used the treadmill. I relocated it so it faces away from the wall...put the old 13" TV in front of it (across the room) so there's something to watch...

Worked up a mild sweat...so I guess it's all good!

Except for the dogs...the dogs are unhappy...

Oh cool I see you guys have a fitness thread, that's cool! I am an avid workout fanatic, and run about 3-5 miles a day, and we play raquetball once or twice a week. When I first started, the goal was to get more fit and lose weight. After a while, it became a habit, and enjoyable. When I started, I was eating poorly, and pretty much lived a sedentary lifestyle. Healthy weight for my build is around 160-170 pounds. I started off around 208 pounds..and over time learned to make healthy food that I enjoy(important...if you eat healthy fod you don't like, you won't stick with it)..slowly reduced my portions...and eventually when I eat anything that's a big portion I get full much quicker...shrinking of my stomach...so now, I dont really eat much in a meal. I began running..barely was able to run around my block. Now I proudly can run 5-6 miles, and have 10k events to run on my schedule, and am well on my way to my 170 pound goal without even doing anything i don't like to do, since I got so hooked on my more active lifestyle! Haha just thought I'd like to share my success story. My goal now is to run the Bay to breakers 12k(a little over 7 miles) in San Francisco which is next May...I got plenty of time to get ready for that one :) Then after that, a half marathon(13.1 miles). these goals also help motivate me :)

Anyways I just wanted to share my succes story...as I started as a sedentary slob and barely able to run a 1/4 mile about 3 months ago, and now I can run 12x that length :)
