A day on the tracks
Took a hike on the railroad tracks the other day got some pretty cool pics. I didn't realize how many animals got hit by trains. The tracks I'm walking on go right along the Mississippi.

I still don't understand how a snapping turtle got up on the rail, but obviously he did.

I have never seen so many bones near the tracks! Thats wild!
I have walked them for miles going to a great little fishing hole.I have never seen anything like that!Ray

Thanks all... The tracks run through a couple thousand acre nature preserve and the trains are going REALLY fast so that probably has something to do with all of the animals getting hit by trains. Most of the animals that were hit were possums and deer, the snapping turtle was really weird though.
