I want to put a school of congos into my tank but I have a few questions first.

First off, I already have a small school of 6 red finned loaches and a small clown pleco. I hope to add a school of congos and a couple blood parrots eventually.


Ok so, I will get a minimum of six but I'm not sure how many more. What should the M/F ratio be? I don't care if they mate I just want them to get along.

Also, I have a large piece of driftwood, dark substrate, and 5 assorted plants, is there anything else I must have before housing congos?

And finally where would be best to get them? I feel like I can get them cheaper and of better stock online than the fish at the lfs around my house?
