Thread: Craigslist RAY in 75 Gallon

Ive never kept a ray but my thoughts were that its short and extra wide, and so should its tank be.
While I think a suitable 75 gallon tank could be made for the ray, I dont think that a standard 75 would be okay for the entirety of its life.
10-17 inches, means the stingray would need to practically turn sideways (even at ten inches) to turn around because of the shape of the fish unless im missing something? Which is quite possible

I did agree that the fish would be better off in a larger tank...as said...a 180 would be nice for a reticulated ray. All I was saying is that the fish is not in as bad of conditions as people are putting on.
